Jesse Pomeroy— A graduate of the Art Center College of Design, Jesse continued his education writing and directing the award winning short film The Fire Inside while working in post-production sound on over 600 feature films including Legally Blonde 2, The Virgin Suicides and Win A Date With Tad Hamilton. In late 2003, Jesse and partner Paul Stanley opened Mission Post, a boutique sound editorial company that serves the needs of the independent film community. Jesse’s lifelong dream has been to write and direct feature films and he looks forward to the challenges that Genre Pictures offers on the way to meeting his goals. In his free time, Jesse can be found on planes between Los Angeles and Paris working on a series of young adult adventure novels, the first of which, The Ghosts of the Kona Coast, has just been completed for publication.

Paul Stanley—Hailing from Nottingham, England, Paul found his way to Los Angeles as the bassist in a rock band before becoming studio manager of Digital Sound Works, the predecessor of Mission Post, his company with Jesse Pomeroy. At DSW, Paul employed a number of highly talented people on such films as The Virgin Suicides, Things Behind the Sun and the television series V.I.P. His skills with organizing and overseeing post-production editorial crews transfers perfectly to feature film production and he brings to Genre Pictures the multi-tasking abilities necessary for a slate of productions as ambitious as the company’s is. When not wearing multiple hats in the production and post-production business, Paul has been known to travel distant desert highways or spend long hours at Amoeba Music. |
